PT. Nuvotek is a subsidiary of PT. Duta Laserindo Metal (PT. DLM) that operates in the field of Software as a Service. Our flagship product, Disiplean, was born from real experiences in facing challenges on PT. DLM's own production floor. PT. DLM is a company engaged in the sheet metal fabrication industry since 1997, with locations in Surabaya, Solo, and Cikarang. PT. DLM is a subsidiary of PT. Guna Elektro, an electrical distributor that has been established since 1975.

In 2019, PT. DLM began its digital transformation journey with a more holistic approach centered on its employees. Previously, we had experienced failures in transformation efforts due to focusing too much on new technologies without preparing our human resources for change. We also spent a large amount on consultations, but the results of the implementation did not last long. Moreover, the technologies we adopted could not be utilized optimally due to the organization's lack of compliance in collecting and managing data.

Our digital transformation journey finally bore fruit in 2025, when PT. DLM successfully achieved the INDI 4.0 certification from the Ministry of Industry. INDI 4.0 is a program aimed at encouraging industry players, especially SMEs, to apply industry 4.0 technologies to increase efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness.

OUR FOUNDATION
This experience taught us that digitalization will not succeed without a strong foundation. That foundation consists of culture, transparency, collaboration, and smooth communication from the shopfloor to management. Through this journey, we managed to develop more than 20 digital applications to fill the gap in our operational digitalization.

The founders of PT. Nuvotek have backgrounds in Social Sciences, Innovation Management, and Human-Centred Design. We understand that the key to successful digital transformation lies in the readiness of the human resource culture for change.

Disiplean was developed by considering the unique cultures that exist in companies in Indonesia. Disiplean is not just a digitalization tool, but a system to change measurable and sustainable work behaviors and culture. We adapt Lean Manufacturing principles and Organizational Management that suit Indonesian culture. One example is the culture of gotong-royong (mutual cooperation) and social sanctions, which are emphasized more than individualism and punishment.
